Get To Know Oktoberfest Beer

Rotary Carroll County Oktoberfest is all about Fundraising for a great cause, getting the community together, music, German cuisine, and beer.  Did we mention beer?- we did? Because the beer might just be one of the most important things about the event, you can’t have an Oktoberfest without it.  Did you know that we have a local beer sponsor who brews several beers just for Oktoberfest each year?

Our Beer Sponsor

Pub Dog Pizza & Drafthouse opened in 2001 on Cross St. in the historic neighborhood of Federal Hill in Baltimore. It immediately became a hit with neighborhood residents, suburbanites, and tourists alike.

Pub Dog quickly became famous as Baltimore’s original gourmet pizza place. For more than a decade, Pub Dog in Federal Hill has served the city with our personal-sized thin-crust pizzas, fresh salads, and “Dog Deal” beers – 2 mugs of our own house craft beer for one low price all the time.

Pub Dog expanded outside of the city in 2007, opening a location in Columbia and has been serving up our gourmet pizzas and hand-crafted 2-for-$4.50 house draft beers ever since.

The Beers

Thanks to Pub Dog, we will be serving three custom brews that you can only get at Carroll County Oktoberfest. Don’t forget to try all three if you can while attending and let us know on Facebook or Instagram which was your favorite!

Rotary Oktoberfest

Our take on a traditional malty German lager. Brewed at cold temperatures for smoothness.

Carroll Kolsch

A crisp, golden German style beer.

White Dog Wheat Beer

A zesty orange wheat beer brewed with orange peel and coriander
