The four Rotary Clubs of Carroll County–Sykesville, South Carroll, Mount Airy, Bonds Meadow, and Westminster–are very excited to announce their partnership in hosting the 10th Annual Rotary Oktoberfest of Carroll County fundraising event to be held at: The Danele Shipley Memorial Arena Carroll County Agriculture Center October 7th, 2023, 12:00 pm till 8:00 pm and October 8th, 2023, 12pm to 5pm.

This will be a fun-filled day with many family activities, as well as authentic style German foods, beers, and music. Festivities will include a “Roll Out the Barrel” Ceremony to be performed by local dignitaries, a Lederhosen and Dirndl Contest, Polka Dance contest, and a Chicken Dance Contest, with live entertainment all day.

Children’s activities will include face painting, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, magic shows, balloon sculptors, and many games.

• Free admission for those arriving in authentic German attire
• General admission is $8.00
• Children ages 10 and under are free
• Save $2 with a donation of 5 non-perishable food items to go to Westminster Rescue Mission.

Attendance of over 3,000 people is anticipated.
